Handgun Found On Departing Flight In Philadelphia
Source: KDKA TV

A witness apparently notified TSA officials after spotting a passenger hand a bag to an U.S. Airways employee at Philadelphia International Airport early Thursday morning.

Authorities stopped the flight as it began its departure from the airport and began a search of the plane.

Investigators located the carry-on bag in question on board and found an unloaded 9mm handgun inside. A passenger and a U.S. Airways employee were taken in for questioning.

The flight, originally scheduled to depart at 7:30 a.m., was cleared to leave at about 10:55 a.m.

4. I can just see it -
"Hey, I've just GOTTA have my piece - tell you what, there's $200 for you if you hang onto it during the fight, then you give it back to me after we land, OK?"

Morons on both sides.

6. Unloaded. And perhaps the bullets were in another bag - passed along in the restroom.
Easy if you have partners.
