Former Law School Official Gets 16 Years on Sex Charges
Source: Washington Post

A former assistant dean at Regent University's law school has been sentenced to 16 years in prison on sex charges involving underage girls.

Stephen L. McPherson, 40, of Chesapeake pleaded guilty in January to forcible sodomy and object sexual penetration involving two girls from 2000 to 2002. He was sentenced Monday in Chesapeake Circuit Court to 80 years; the judge suspended 64 years of the term.

2. From the CESS-POOL'S website
Leadership & Influence

When Dr. M.G. “Pat” Robertson, Regent president and chancellor, established the university in 1978, he envisioned a high-caliber institution that would attract a leadership team brimming with superior professional experience and extraordinary academic credentials. In just three decades, that vision is being fulfilled. Distinguished faculty and guest lecturers include John Ashcroft, former U.S. Attorney General; Vern Clark, former Chief of Naval Operations; Steve Forbes, president and CEO of Forbes, Inc. and others.

Divine Mission

The university was founded for the specific purpose of preparing leaders who would not only succeed in their professions, but also advance as Christians equipped to effectively impact their world. It was that cause that brought 70 CBN University students together in 1978 to pursue their graduate degrees in communication, albeit in rented classroom space under the guidance of seven faculty members.

Mission

Our mission is to serve as a leading center of Christian thought and action providing an excellent education from a biblical perspective and global context in pivotal professions to equip Christian leaders to change the world.

7. Bingo......
The graduates of Regent and Liberty Universities' law schools are the ones behind the most recent DOJ memo about gay marriage.

They have so polluted the DOJ, I'm not sure Holder will ever be able to clean them out. A lot of them have been placed in career positions, and it's almost impossible to get rid of people in those slots...................

who was trying to go out with her. Slimey Robertson went into some paean to love affairs between older men and minor women, based upon Heloise and Abelard. The whole time, a woman onscreen with him tried desperately to shut him up.

Neither of them suggested the girl who wrote in try to discuss this with her parents or her pastor. Or, for that matter, the police.

Oddly enough, something else that he had said that day made national headlines--I've forgotten what. But no one mentioned this disturbing segment of the same show.
