(Town Hall) Gathering represnents all sides

DENVER - People on all sides of the health care debate waved signs and shouted slogans in front of the Stout Street Clinic as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi arrived Thursday with U.S. Reps. Diana DeGette and Jared Polis to tour the medical clinic for the homeless.

"Just say no!" yelled those demonstrating against health care reform.

"Yes, we can!" shouted back those who support the proposed reforms.

About 250 people crowded the sidewalks. Despite profound disagreements, there were no fistfights, no politicians hanged in effigy. Most opponents didn't even interact with one another, although some engaged in heated arguments.

Protesters were libertarians, Tea Party activists, union members and followers of moveon.org.
