McCain Evicts Angry Woman From Town Hall
Source: The Huffington Post

PHOENIX — Sen. John McCain met with an angry crowd at a town-hall meeting about health care reform Wednesday, sometimes having to fight to talk and telling one woman who wouldn't stop yelling that she had to leave.

The Arizona senator hadn't yet opened up the meeting at McCain's central Phoenix church to questions when one audience member continuously yelled over him.

"You're going to have to stop or you're going to have to leave," McCain told the woman. When security guards approached to escort her out, he told her "Goodbye, see ya" to a round of applause.

After McCain opened it up to questioning, one man angrily pointed at him and asked the senator why he deserves a better health care plan than him.

5. Hm...
McCain urged them he would fight for health care reform but reiterated his opposition to President Barack Obama's plan to create a government option to compete with private insurers, arguing that it would be the eventual end of private insurers in the U.S.

This is what I've been so optimistically saying about the public option. :D

14. The people who would care are the people who work for them
Maybe we've got to be more thoughtful of things like, reassure these people they would get jobs elsewhere somehow.

17. The problem would be that very wealthy men like John McCain
would not be able to count on the dividends that their health insurance "investments" pay them. Wonder how much John McCain's "blind trust" has invested in insurance companies.

Alternatively, Republicans would stand to lose a lot in insurance "investments" in their campaigns.

Besides, health insurance is a big business.

And the purpose of the Republican Party and Blue Dog Dems is to protect big business at all cost.

7. Yeah no kidding
I mean, Johnny boy, this isn't a private meeting with your lobbyists. We out here in the real world that have been living with the constant shit from health care insurance companies could really give a flying fuck if they fell off the face of the planet and into a black hole. In fact, should that day ever some, I'm going to bust out some beer and popcorn and enjoy the show!

21. I wouldn't hold my breath, private insurance companies are the ones running medicare
currently. I would think that the goverment would be coerced into a national plan that would be managed by healthcare companies just like medicare is now.

9. Life used to be so much easier before you got involved with "that woman", huh, John?
Ever since you validated sarah palin, your crowds have become so unruly! Whatever happened to the old happy-go-lucky jokester? What ever happened to the nice crowds?

15. Typical Republican, can dish it out, but can't take it
Cheers all the yelling and screaming at the Democratic town halls, but can't take the yelling and screaming at their own and have to call in the troops to quell them. Cowards, all of them.

The same McCain who supported bush 89% of the time?
The same McCain who thought palin was qualified for the VP slot?

20. What a lying sack of shit he is.
"After McCain opened it up to questioning, one man angrily pointed at him and asked the senator why he deserves a better health care plan than him.

'I'm trying to get it for you,' McCain told him. 'We'll do it for you. We'll make it affordable and available to you.'"

No he's not! The miNOrity party has no intention of doing anything of the sort. They're sole purpose in this whole thing is to prevent anything from passing, thus handing Obama his "Waterloo."
