Pat Robertson, 79, recovering from heart surgery
Source: Associated Press

<snip>

"A spokesman says religious broadcaster Pat Robertson is recovering well after undergoing 10 hours of heart surgery in North Carolina.

Christian Broadcasting Network spokesman Chris Roslan said Monday Robertson is "doing great" since the Aug. 19 surgery in Pinehurst, N.C.

The 79-year-old founder of the network had the surgery after he experienced shortness of breath and weakness. He was treated for atrial fibrillation, which afflicts an estimated 5 million Americans.

Robertson was hospitalized for eight days before returning home to Virginia Beach last Thursday."

14. Lucky for Pat, I WAS praying to God to kill him
Like he does for other people, but as it turns out, God listens to me, not Pat, and I had a change of heart and asked the Almighty to let him come through the surgery whole and intact.

Maybe next time. We'll see what kind of mood I'm in.

47. I earned it honestly
He was my 'neighbor' for over 12 years; for 7 of them we lived only a mile from his mansion/campus/compound. I not only lived in the shadow of CBN (this was before it became 'Regent'), but I worked with, and went to college with, many of his cultists. They are everything you can imagine, and worse.

The Bad Reverend was, and is, a very dangerous person, not deserving of mercy or well-wishes. Never let your guard down with the likes of Pat Robertson.

The world will be a better place when he is gone.

My post was going to be:
