N.Y. Rep. King Criticizes Muslim Leaders (85% of US Mosques Terrorists)
NEW YORK -- Leaders of 85 percent of the nation's mosques are involved in terrorist activities, and some have made irresponsible statements about the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, said Rep. Peter King, a Long Island Republican.

"I don't see any need to be politically correct here -- the stakes are too high," King said in an interview broadcast Sunday on WNBC-TV's "News Forum."

The 85 percent figure was drawn from research done for his recently published novel, "Vale of Tears," about the World Trade Center attacks, King said.

Muslim groups on Long Island have denounced the claim, accusing him of fanning anti-Muslim sentiment to sell books.

5. Oh brother.
One of the citizens in my town who owns a business is from Jordan..he is terrified, as is his wife, as they encounter some of the morons in this town..another man here is a Hindu, and he owns a business also..he told me some people had come in drunk and yelled at him after Sept 11...I told him call the goddamn cops if these idiots keep it up. Sometimes I think the only thing that keeps these screaming obnoxious neo fascists from actually killing people they dont like is that its against the frigging law and they know they will end up in jail.
Im so tired of morAns like this guy in the article.

33. They probably hid the gefilte fish so you wouldn't see it

A more sinister foodstuff is hard to find. If you are determined to find one, go infiltrate Minnesota. Lutefisk is the only known challenger to gefilte fish in the Xtreme Horribleness category.

37. 85% of gefilte fish hates our freedom
Namely the jarred "Wasabist" sect that can only be consumed with horseradish.

We have finally identified the long-sought embryo of the Gefilte fish. It is a chimeric pike and whitefish blastula which should (if all goes well) develop into a mature Gefilte. We are constructing fate maps using horseradish peroxidase.

31. it's a rhetorical question, I take it?
(why must Jews answer a question with another question?)

If you discover two synagogues teaching the same interpretation, you'll automatically win the Nobel Laureate in Physics. Alas, this "two places at once" discovery would have you remembered beside such semitic luminaries as Niels Bohr and Richard Feynman.

Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen.

8. Another Goebbels "brother", it seems,...
,...demonizing a whole population of peoples. If he wants to address "extremists", he should point out Falwell, Weyrich, Roberts, Scaife and the likes of them in addition to being specific about other extremists who do not represent the Muslim people.

15. We have laws against "hate" crimes,...
,...but, unfortunately, "hate" speech is running rampant; and, notwithstanding that our country embraces "free speech", we really should start taking a closer look at how the runamuck neonazi hate tactics are having such a negative impact upon the general public interest. After all, laws exist which somewhat limit protests in this country on the basis of public interest principle.

What if some idiot goes and burns down a mosque because he believes this shit? Freedom comes with responsibility.

But, these subhuman-type guys who incite such actions manage to escape responsibility for their role in it by pointing to the idiot's gullibility/culpability. It has become a terrible problem in this country,...the way hate peddlers get away with their truly evil behavior.

23. In the L.A. Times yesterday….
There was a “letter to the editor” that stated:

I’m proud of President Bush and those in our military, who are ready to quash any perceived dangerous Muslim group or country – we do not want another 9/11! We have to reelect our president come November.

Make no mistake about it, there’s a lot of hate out there and shitheads like King feel empowered to inflame it…..there’s always a ready supply of ignorant Neanderthals ready to pick up a stick and grunt….

28. I was channel surfing and wanted to vomit.
Saw Peter "I'm a pathetic racist pig" King on FOX.
Of course, they were having an unfair and unbalanced
debate as usual.

It's funny, (in an unfunny way.) The right wingers are
so ignorant and hateful...they just can't control
themselves from saying what they really think, can they?!
Just ask Trent Lott.

What's next? All black people are on welfare?
All gay people have AIDS?
All Asian people don't know how to drive?
All Mexicans are illegal aliens?

The GOP is a big tent of tolerance? My ass. :grr:

36. Did You Catch This.
The Faux News person, in order to prove King correct, read a quote from a newspaper story. It went something like this "Wahabbist<sp?> clerics have taken over hundreds of mosques in the US." He's the best part, the quote was attributed to non-other than... Peter F'ing King. It was surreal. I almost did get sick.
