Lab tech released from custody in Yale killing
Source: MSNBC

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - New Haven police say they have released a Yale University animal research technician they questioned in the killing of a graduate student after collecting DNA samples from him and searching his apartment.

A police department spokesman, Officer Joe Avery, says Raymond Clark left the station with his lawyer at about 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Clark has not been charged in the killing of 24-year-old Annie Le, whose body was found stuffed behind a wall Sunday in a Yale laboratory building where both she and Clark worked. Police are calling him a "person of interest."

Perhaps we might wait for a charge, never mind an actual trial?

1. waiting
I don't think they know anything until they've compared the DNA.

Meanwhile, if he's innocent, you can add him to the list of people whose reputations have been ruined forever by our law enforcement authorities. At least Steven Hatfill got millions eventually, although I am sure neither his life nor his health (years of stress effects) will ever be the same.

2. They'll make the arrest when they're ready
there is also other evidence that implicates him, especially his pattern of keycard swipes.

3. Yep...they're keeping an eye on him.
If the DNA evidence hits, they'll arrest him. If it doesn't, they'll keep investigating.

4. They are very careful not to even release the results of the autopsy
keeping secret everything which is really the way it should be. Remember Duke U?

And, of course, there is LAPD that cannot wait to release photos of celebrities..
