I've lived here 30 years and never heard of this form of "entertainment" before today.

Feral pigs are very destructive and should be controlled but capturing them alive to be set upon by pit bulls for entertainment...trust me...the majority of people are not in favor of this or even aware it goes on.

As far as Louisiana values, I think a war hero like Kerry is closer to our ideal than a pissant like Vitter. At least Bob Livingston, low-life that he was, would answer his mail and try to help you if you had a complaint. Sheesh. Vitter is beyond useless. He serves no function as a human being whatsoever.

well I notice you don't condemn this action, and by the standards used in many places on this board, that means you support the fighting of dogs and defanged feral pigs. If that is true, it hardly makes northerners bigoted against you, does it?

For the record, I think people should fight their own pigs and not make the dogs do all the work. Frankly, this is typical of republicans, take a dangerous animal (feral pigs are dangerous) and dearm it before having someone else attack it so you get the glory. Remind anyone of Saddam Hussein (although that's unfair to the pigs)
