3. Very fair point. No sign he was talking about operating earnings.

Double dip recession is also a big risk as the fed slows down their MBS purchases - though the fed released their minutes from last month indicating they may extend purchases if necessary. The dollar took a small hit on that newswirh the DXY (dollar index) down about 25 bps on a gap move down.
