Britain finally broke out of recession in the final three months of 2009, government data showed Tuesday, with the economy notching a feeble increase after six straight quarters of contraction. . .

The country was the last of the Group of 7 industrialized nations to exit the recession, lagging France and Germany. Spain, which reports fourth-quarter G.D.P. next month, is alone among major European economies in not having emerged from recession.

3. According to this,
America is also out of it's recession. A "jobless recovery." Of course since we gave wall street all of our money and no jobs were created, our economy is in great (depression) shape. We are a member of the "group of 7."
