Honduras says it will follow Spain's lead, withdraw troops from Iraq in June; El Salvador to stay put

Honduras plans to follow Spain's lead and withdraw 370 troops from a Spanish-led humanitarian and peacekeeping brigade in June, Defense Secretary Federico Breve said Tuesday.

The decision marked an about-face from the day before, when President Ricardo Maduro said he would not pull his soldiers from Iraq.

Tuesday's announcement "coincides with the decision of the prime minister-elect of the Spanish government," Breve said.

Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, the socialist candidate who won Spain's elections Sunday, has called the Iraq invasion an error, and said he would recall Spanish troops from Iraq by June 30 unless the United Nations assumes control of multinational military operations there.

to explain...I picked up paper sacks at church on Sunday, 20 of them. They are for making luminarios at our Mar 20 MEMORIAL FOR THE DEAD. My sacks were Polish and Spanish dead. Each sack was marked with the name and country of the dead person...But I filled them with sand and took them to our collection point so that about 800 sacks would be ready and all we would have to do is put the candle in each, put the luminario out and light the candle.So I don't have the sacks anymore or I could count them.

Where does he get all that money he spends. I swear no other president has spent money like this. Congress used to over see the money.
