SNIP

..."I am very pleased his long incarceration without charge is finally over," Reuters editor-in-chief David Schlesinger said...

SNIP

...The U.S. military has asserted that Jassam was a "security threat." The accusations had to do with "activities with insurgents," it said last year, without giving any specifics.

1. This is a fascinating story.
I hope he does more interviews. He was picked up and held for a few months twice before his third and final arrest.

6. Yes it is. I am more sickened every day by US terrorist acts
around the world. (depleted uranium, drone attacks etc.)

(I originally wrote a lengthy response to your "thuggery" comment that developed into a rant over the US bullying of Iran. I deleted it because it would have been seen as a sub-thread and deleted. Maybe I'll put it in its own thread.)

4. Held a YEAR AND A HALF without any real charges... now THAT means
this guy was "detained" while Bush and Cheney were running the show.

Why did it take SO DAMN LONG to straighten this out?

Oh wait, the Iraqi's released him, the Bush/Cheney army just broke into his house and got him!!

Anybody else see something wrong with this picture?
