Two Israelis suspected of planning Iran arms deal

JERUSALEM, March 21 (Reuters) - Two Israelis are suspected of planning to supply military equipment to Iran in a case linked to an American indicted for arms smuggling by a U.S. court, Israeli police and security sources said on Sunday.

Prompted by U.S. security agencies, Israeli investigators last Thursday raided a warehouse and found military equipment, police spokesman Gil Kleiman said. snip

Security sources said the equipment alleged to have been found in the warehouse was parts for the radar of U.S.-made Hawk anti-aircraft missile systems. Israel and Iran regard each other as enemy states.
