Oil giant BP reaches agreement to sell wind power to Colorado utility
Source: Examiner

BP says it has reached a long-term agreement to sell all 250 megawatts from its proposed Cedar Creek II wind farm to Xcel Energy’s Public Service Company of Colorado. Financial terms were not released.

The oil giant’s alternative energy unit, which has eight US wind farms, plans to begin construction this summer of Cedar Creek II in Weld County in northeastern Colorado.

3. No wonder they can't stop the Gulf oil gusher!
They're an alternative energy company. Too many fingers in too many pots.

4. The Masters never change
They egg on their puppets in Washington to invade Iraq which quadruples oil and gas prices because of "instability". It would have gone up eventually but that kick started the pillage.

They make oodles and oodles of profit and use that to invest and/or buy out all alternative energy companies. The ones that are just too too successful or that they cannot see much of a bottom line, they quietly let die. The ones that show promise of future wealth they buy so that they can corner all new energy when it finally comes to the tipping point when oil and gas is just too expensive for the average person. They will be the new owners of wind, solar, tide, and whatever other new energy sources are found. And have no doubt about it, there will never be a "cheap new energy source" for the public. The energy corporations will look at their research and deduct just how much markup they can squeeze out of the average consumer and charge the highest possible price they can get away with.

Brave new world

Same as the old world
