Passenger arrested after Aeromexico flight diverted to Montreal

An Aeromexico flight that was denied entry to U.S. air space because of security concerns was diverted to Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Montreal Sunday night and one passenger was arrested.

U.S. officials said the Paris to Mexico City flight was denied access after a person named in an outstanding warrant was reported aboard.

The person, whom officials did not identify, was removed from the plane and was arrested by authorities.

The plane, which departed Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport at 4.31 a.m. ET, was carrying 150 passengers.
