Little Mention of Sales Decline at Walmart Shareholders' Meeting

Once again, Walmart packed out Bud Walton arena for their annual shareholders meeting this morning. The show was packed with entertainment and very little was mentioned about the retailer's recent decline in sales.

The meeting kicked off with no other than Academy Award winning actor and singer Jamie Fox. Fox brought the crowd to their feet with his opening performance and famed impression of music legend Ray Charles.

Latin singer Enrique Eglasias also performed, followed by Grammy winner Mary J. Blige. The latest American Idol winner Lee DeWyze also made an appearance just before pop and R&B icon Mariah Carey sang her 90's hit "Hero". Grammy winning singer Josh Groban closed out the meeting with his hit song "You Raise Me Up".

Some business was discussed in between performances, although little was mentioned about the retailer's recent decline in sales. Instead, CEO Mike Duke focused on the future.
