Mexico files court brief against Arizona immigration law
Source: CNN

(CNN) -- Mexico on Tuesday filed a brief in federal court in Arizona supporting a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of a tough new immigration law, Mexico's foreign ministry said.

The lawsuit seeks to overturn SB 1070, a recently passed law due to go into effect late next month, which stipulates that police can ask the residency status of people being investigated for a crime.

"The government of Mexico has requested the court that SB 1070 be declared unconstitutional and that it does not enter into force," the foreign ministry said in a written statement.

The Mexican government gave its support to the lawsuit filed by a group of civil rights organizations, including the Mexican American Legal Defense Fund, the National Immigration Law Center and the American Civil Liberties Union.

1. Irony is the prejudice exists BECAUSE of illegal immigration.
If immigration laws were enforced and people had confidence that everyone was here legally no one would be looked at as a potential immigration violator. It is the rampant lawbreaking that inflicts all non white people with this stigma.

3. You don't know much about Arizona, do you...
The prejudice in the Legislature in Phoenix is so thick you can cut it with a knife...

The neo-nazi fuck who sponsored that law is a raging bigot...check out his web site and his participation in neo-nazi rallies and forwarding of neo-nazi propaganda.

He's a fundy bigot of the first order...

And so are most who voted for that execrable piece of shit...

It's all about VOTER SUPPRESSION - NOT IMMIGRATION! The white bigots who passed this law know their days are numbered unless they can drive out the brown people who are out breeding them...

Viva Mexico!

Viva la Huelga!

2. It is simply unconstitutional
I have no doubt it will be struck down and repealed due to it being totally, unquestionably unconstitutional, and of course un-American in a land made up mostly of immigrants. Of course Mexico lost it's northern lands to an illegitimate war of conquest and imperialism by the hungry for land, greedy, immoral, and genocidal early settlers, that must always be remembered. The border crossed the Mexicans, not the other way around.
