Yahoo NewsIn a preview of what will be a bellwether race this fall, a new poll shows U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak and Pat Toomey in a dead heat in Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate race.
The Public Policy Polling survey finds both of them sitting at 41 percent support among likely state voters, with 18 percent still undecided. That's a slight improvement for Sestak. The poll shows that 52 percent of moderates favor Sestak and 26 percent like Toomey • with 21 percent undecided. As is always the case in Pennsylvania, that's the voting bloc to watch.
Still, Sestak and Toomey still struggle with name recognition: 44 percent "aren't sure" if they have a favorable or unfavorable view of Sestak, 42 percent of Toomey.
