Three of 10 alleged Russian spies posed as Canadians: U.S. government

The FBI has arrested 10 people for allegedly serving for years as secret agents of Russia's intelligence organ, the SVR, with the goal of penetrating U.S. government policymaking circles.

Three of the alleged Russian spies posed as Canadians to cover their tracks on deep-cover assignments for Moscow, the U.S. Justice Department said.

Court papers filed in the case say Donald Howard Heathfield, Tracey Lee Ann Foley and Patricia Mills all claimed to be born in Canada.

Investigators say Heathfield assumed the identity of a dead Canadian as part of his spy legend.

3. If any of these folks have U.S. citizenship, and they're convicted...

...they should have their ass thrown in jail forever, no chance of release.
