American Crossroads Attacks Harry Reid For Not Bringing Nevada Enough Stimulus
Source: Huffington Post

A television ad launched against Harry Reid late last week underscores an obvious tension, if not outright duplicity, that exists within the Republican Party with respect to the economic stimulus package passed by Democrats last year.

On Thursday evening, the new conservative group American Crossroads -- conceived of by veteran GOP operatives Karl Rove and Ed Gillespie -- released a TV advertisement attacking the Senate Majority Leader for, of all things, not bringing enough stimulus dollars back to Nevada.

2. actually, I thought it had to do with repug governor Gibbons
not doing the paperwork for some stimulus funds. There are stimulus funds being used because just about ten miles from where I live is a sign on a road project about the job was part of the stimulus funds.

3. Harry Reid is getting a check from me.
I know he's not our favorite, but I want to see to see a lot of conservatives eat crow when we retain the Senate and Reid.

4. Playing politics as usual.
First the conservatives were howling over stimulus and "big gubunmint" but then they turn around and find it convenient to attack Reid for not stimulating their home state's economy enough! I almost had the impression that Crossroads was a left-wing org until I saw the names Rove and Gillespie.

5. Nevada is mostly unpopulated desert, why does it need a lot of money?
I'm sick of all the pork going to unpopulated areas just because each state gets two senators.
