Reports of gunfire at campus near Dallas
By Associated Press

A community college about 30 miles north of Dallas has been put on lockdown after reports of gunfire.

An e-mail alert, sent shortly after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to students and staff of the Collin County Community College District, warned that shots had been fired and that the central campus in McKinney was closed.

The e-mail said: "Shots fired. Campus on lockdown. Cops on the scene. Details to follow."

dollars to donuts drug shit or someone who has no access to quality mental care (ie fuck you culture because we dont pay for this).

3. If this turns out to be firecrackers
Does that mean this is part of the American firecracker culture? What about nail guns? Are they covered under the American gun culture? Most likely this will come up under America's law breaking culture.

who has a degree in materials engineering, has worked for nuclear facilities, aerospace companies on 3 continents and taken more lie detector tests than most. Done 2 fill SSBIs, pretty much meet the bar to own a firearm.

Oh, I read the article, asshole drove up to a police station and started shooting. They shot him..

Like I said, criminal or mental. None have anything to do with my right to own a firearm.

the number of people killed by criminals has nothing to do with legal ownership. Just like the DWI dead have no bearing on my ability to enjoy a nice cold beer without smashing into a vanload of kids.

Waiting breathlessly for any violent person using a gun (certainly not a knife) -- then attacking people you hate. Why do you hate so very much? Can you answer that? You hate fellow liberal/progressive Democrats, so you must hate many, many more people. I have found that prohibitionists use the Right Wing Christian line: "We don't hate the sinner, we hate the sin." You hate the thing, so that you might hate the user/possessor of the thing with some sort of immunity. But you, we, all of us know better.

He's a coward who, when his character is challenged, will go "sarcastic," wonder about your "thin skin," or move on to do some punkin' on another thread. His/her kind can be put into one of 2 categories: (1) culture warrior/prohibitionist hater, or (2) punker who really doesn't give a damn about this issue as long as it services his feelings. People don't attempt this with car owners as a group when someone kills himself car surfing, or plows into a crowd at a bus stop, or
wipes out a minivan full of kids after having a bellyful of vodka.

Presumably because there is no embittered, vocal minority out there that hates cars and despises drivers...
