Toyota recall: 1.53 million vehicles in U.S., Japan, Europe & more
Source: NY Daily News

By Michael Sheridan

Oh what a feeling indeed.

Toyota, which was rocked earlier this year by a massive recall that damaged the company's image and raised safety concerns about many of its cars, is recalling another 1.53 million vehicles around the world.

This time the concern is over brake fluid and fuel pump problems, and include the 2005 and 2006 Avalon, 2004 through 2006 non-hybrid Highlander and Lexus RX330, along with the 2006 Lexus GS300, IS250, and IS350 vehicles, the company said in a release.

Of those recalled, 740,000 are from the United States and 599,000 are from Japan. The rest come from Europe and other regions around the world.

2006 Lexus GS300 is among the vehicles being recalled by Toyota.

2. They have had to recall over 14,000,000 cars this year
Nothing wrong with Toyota, nothing at all. I'm waiting for the Yota huggers to attack the thread.

The dealers LOVE these recalls becauser it's LOTS of extra hours booked in the shops.

4. And.....
The one million an hour they say they are spending on safety, must be the cost of the recalls.

And now the Honda company (# 2 in Japan) has a recall for the same reason.

5. My mom's car was recalled
But not for those reasons (it's the cruise control instead).
