7. The grow-ops in Humboldt County won big too with this.
Legalization would put them out of business.

It'll be interesting to see how many contributors to the "No on 19" campaign came from that region.

2. I guess the "Yes on 19" forces forget to vote on their way home from the munchies run.
Damn.

5. It does look like the "no more supermajority to pass state budgets" thing will pass
If Dems hold the Assembly and Brown gets elected, this is a good start.

14. I'm confused about 25 & 26
It looks like both of these will pass, though they are polar opposites. Doesn't say much for the intelligence of CA voters.

15. No, it says more about the people writing some of these Propositions to be as confusing as possible.

From the same group that created Prop H8 in 2008 where you voted NO if you were FOR gay marriage, and YES if you weren't.

This has been the first year in my 23 years of voting that statewide propositions had me confused. I stopped reading them and trying to understand them, and just voted how the state and local Democratic party platform recommended.

We're smoking anyway. It will change. Or I will grow old and die in a crazy world where nothing makes any sense at all.

9. Prop 19...
...was flawed - it conflicted with Federal law.

But it was a step in the right direction. Legalization of drugs will result in less social pathology than the current system that is filling our jails and feeding profit to drug cartels.

11. you don't
Sure, if it were a proposition to legalize meth and gay hookers, the republican congress critters would be all over it. Pot is evil though.
