That's good news, but make no mistake about it, the Bush team wants to make history by carrying Minnesota, which would be the first time a Republican has done it since 1972.

I was pleased to see that Nader only has 2% in Minnesota. Last time he won over 5% in the state. Perhaps swing state voters who are sympathetic to Nader are wising up.

Keep in mind, ever since the last primaries, this market has been bombardered with Bush/Cheney ads (replete with "I'm George W. Bush, and I approve this message").

IMO, the best one was with the one with the "Bahstin" (Boston) Policeman talking about his experience as a Kerry constituent, saying we'll all be taxed beyond our own incomes. Obviously, that played quite well with the "Ollie and Lena" types they'd have us believe is a Republican base, as Bush isn't even polling well all over the north.
