1. From the article, it is almost certain it was Fallujah
No real details, though. I suppose there will be a fairly complete news blackout in this area, or at least a concerted effort to manage the news, from this area over the next while.

4. Very little info. surrendered in this article, as well, from AFP at Yahoo
Meanwhile, two US marines were killed in action by insurgents in the restive western Iraqi province of Al-Anbar, the US military said.

"Two marines assigned to the 1st Marine Division have been killed as a result of enemy action in the Al-Anbar province," the military said in a statement.

"One marine was killed in action yesterday. The other marine died today from wounds received in separate action yesterday."

The military declined to give any further information on the incidents, citing security reasons.

"Bring Em On" roared the drunken Sock-Puppet

"Though shalt not kill" decreed Judge Roy Moore

"Only if they are Rag Heads" commented the Conservative Preacher.

"We could have used them" grumbled the ex-seals at BilgeWater USA.

"You did use them up and throw them away" comment from a legless Vet

"Their days of agony on earth are over" prayed a true Christian

"Mommy I'm hungry" cried a homeless girl in Texas waking up today.

"I don't know how we'll pay the mortgage" complained an unemployed worker.

"I have no money for my prescription" lamented a 72 year old WalMart greeter.

"No money for books this spring" fumed an inner city school librarian.

God bless all of You this morning. I am going to mass shortly to celebrate Christ's entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday 2000 + years ago this morning. Today 9,000 miles to the East of me people who should know better, are breaking at least six or seven of God's commandments

In D.C. people professing to be Christians and coveting their neighbors oil.

I will pray for all of them. The souls of these 2 Marines, the Iraqis killed today and the families of all who have lost loved ones through this madness.

"It is too bad we all just can't get along", Rodney King, Los Angeles native and crime victim.

10. Your prayers sound like mine
Leftchick, we are both praying for the same thing. This sociopath has caused far too much death and suffering. He will go down in history as the worst, the most corrupt, the most hated president in American history.

I wonder if, a few years from now, there will be books speculating the reasons American citizens stood by and allowed the country to come to this. Everything we do causes contempt or hatred by the rest of the world.

....oh, and Bush has a joke to tell..."not here!" *evil smirk*

Do you think for 'political reasons' say around October he will finally attend a funeral? Of course it will be on all the networks.
