Randall Terry to rally in Savannah (antigay)

Operation Rescue founder Randall Terry, known nationwide for his anti-abortion crusade, is bringing his latest cause to Savannah later this month.

Terry has launched an anti-homosexual marriage campaign that will include creation of a new organization and a series of events.

The events, called "Impeach the Twisted Six," are a series of rallies and press conferences calling for impeachment of the six U.S. Supreme Court justices who Terry and others believe have paved the way for homosexual marriages through a recent decision.

The first rally is Aug. 9 in Jacksonville and the second one will be Aug. 16 in Savannah, which was chosen in part because it is Justice Clarence Thomas' hometown.

He made some "unChristianlike" decisions not too long ago and had a fall from grace."

I thought so anyway. Hadn't heard anything in the press about him for years now. Figured like most holier-than-thou types he got caught sleeping with the sitter or something and couldn't show his face in public.

At least this will distract him from the other fruitless crusade in his life - haunting women's health clinics.

his name makes me think of when I was in high school... every Saturday morning my friends and I did clinic defense, protecting women seeking reproductive services from Terry's Operation Rescue freaks.

Terry's a classic - never wanted to actually work for a living, tried selling used cars (he bombed). I first met him when he auditioned for a band I was in. He couldn't play guitar either. Then he tried selling us Shaklee products and we sent him on his way.
