Palin eyes run for president if she has 'best shot'

WASHINGTON — Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin said in an interview she would run for US president if she has the "best shot" on the right, and expressed confidence that she could beat Barack Obama.

"I would run if I believe that other candidates willing to put themselves forward in the name of public service, if they don't have a shot at winning, I would offer myself up," she added.

On the prospect of preparing for the primaries, she said: "I'm looking at the lay of the land now, and trying to figure that out -- if it's a good thing for the country, for the discourse, for my family, if it's a good thing."

Asked if she could beat Obama, she said: "I believe so."

At one point in the interview her husband Todd is invited to join her, sitting on the side of her armchair with a red basketball cap on.

Walters asked if he wanted his wife to be president. "She's definitely qualified to be president, and yeah, I'd love for her to be president, if she decided to run."

Palin as candidate or (god forbid) president would:

- NOT be good for the country
- NOT be good for the discourse
- NOT be a good thing

But it WOULD be good for her family of grifters.

-Not be good for the planet
-Not be good for the solar system
-not be good for the galaxy

Someone else would really be calling the shots. Palin would just be a figurehead, even more so than Reagan was. It has the potential to do even more harm than Reagan's era. I think she would be used as cover to go after social security, using her supposed affiliation with the working class as cover.

Betcha that if she does run she'll release a personal swimsuit 'n guns calender 2 months before the 2012 election. Get all the fellas hot 'n bothered about her, don't ya know.

A second term for Obama might be in jeopardy, but not if he gets to run against Sarah Palin. Someone who quit her term as governor halfway through her first term doesn't have a realistic shot to be president.
