A Pentagon source has said up to 130 US troops have been killed in fierce fighting in Iraq.

The large scale battle, described as "intense", has taken place in the town of Ar Ramadi, 20 miles west of Fallujah.

Sky News' David Chater said: "None of this is official yet - none of it is confirmed."

But he added: "It sounds very much like this is being carried out by men who are militarily trained."

Chater described the attack as "highly sophisticated".

Or just face saving by the military, who may not want the world, and the U.S. public to know that a militia can do much damage to marines.

granted, I think that just 1 more death on any side is unacceptable...but one hundred and thirty mothers are going to find out that their sons and daughters were slaughtered for a lie tonight?

Even worse to contemplate, for every one dead there multiple wounded, and for every wounded there are multiples more who will have PTSD.

Can the people of a country rise up adn call for a time out? You know, like parents do for kids who are out of control?? This is just insanity.

We have to get out of there- NOW. Get the hell out & pay for the rebuilding of what we blew up. Can't bring back lives tho....this is really really scary. The US should be ashamed......I am.....damn....

I know a typo IS a human error, but 3 is soooo far from 0, unless they typed it using the numerical keypad...?
