Dick Morris Pens Anti-Rahm Emanuel Ad

A new political advertisement released Tuesday attacked Chicago mayoral front-runner Rahm Emanuel, accusing the candidate of playing a "key role" in the subprime mortgage crisis as a member of Freddie Mac's board of directors.

"Rahm for Chicago?" the 30-second spot asked. "No. Rahm for Rahm."

The ad, which also asserts that Emanuel helped U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement deport more than 100,000 people while serving in the Clinton White House, was penned by political strategist Dick Morris and produced by Rahmstoppers.com, an opposition group to Emanuel's candidacy.

"When you don't stop a bad politician from gaining power, there are dire consequences," the group's mission statement said on its website.
