6 arrested at Montreal police protest

At least six people were arrested ahead of the annual anti-police brutality march in Montreal Tuesday, a yearly event traditionally marked by vandalism and violence.

Hundreds of people showed up to take part in the procession, that got underway just after 6 p.m. ET, about an hour later than originally planned.

The arrests delayed the event, Montreal police reported on Twitter.

2. Every year, it's the same stupid crap

The police warns rioters not to break anything, the rioters break stuff, the police arrest the rioters, the actual demonstrators proceed with the protest.

Last year, the metro wouldn't even stop at the station near the protest.

3. Montreal Riots.

Well Montrealers are a funny bunch.They've been cooped up in their apartments all winter and as soon as spring rolls in they are just itching for a riot and will do so for any reason.It hurts the credibility of this one.Annual ?Its now an annual right of spring riot.If this protest ever coincides with a Stanley Cup win god help us.
