Haas beats Kraeger to take Larson's County Board seat

Jason Haas, a stay-at-home dad and community activist, has easily defeated Steven Kraeger, the owner of a trucking firm who put up $50,000 of his own money for the campaign. Haas will serve the one-year term left in the County Board of Supervisors seat vacated by Chris Larson.

The vacancy occurred when Larson was elected to the state Senate in November.

District 14 on the south side covers Bay View and includes the areas of Wilson Park, Humboldt Park and Mitchell International Airport.

1. Was just at Honey Pie in Bay View last week-end
for late lunch. It looked like a lib area, except I did see a few Prosser signs.
