Bush Weighs Overhaul of Intelligence Services
Aides Say He Will Await 9/11 Panel's Suggestions

By Dana Milbank and Mike Allen

CRAWFORD, Tex., April 12 -- President Bush said Monday that he is contemplating a major overhaul of the nation's intelligence services and scheduled a prime-time news conference for Tuesday to build domestic support for his strategy in Iraq.

Bush, speaking to reporters at his ranch with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak at his side, said that "now may be a time to revamp and reform our intelligence services." Aides said he is likely to wait for recommendations, scheduled for this summer, from the independent commission investigating the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

"We look forward to hearing recommendations," Bush said. "We're thinking about that, ourselves, and we look forward to working with the commission."

(snip)

Iraq and the administration's response to threats before the attacks promise to be prominent topics as Bush meets reporters in the East Room at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. By requesting such a visible forum to explain his actions, Bush departed markedly from the past week, in which he has been mostly out of view on his Texas ranch as he endured a stream of criticism about the adequacy of his plans for suppressing an uprising against the U.S. occupation of Iraq.

Let's go back to Prescott Bush. There IS a family TRADITION of consorting with, and, PROFITEERING WITH THE ENEMY OF THE USA:grr::puke::argh::grr:
Especially considering that part of the Bush family wealth was derived from The Holocaust.

2. the new organization will be known as the "anti-intelligence agency"
it will monitor liberals, democrats, progressives, and universities for any signs of nonconformist thought, novel ideas, empathy, analysis, or logic.

it will permanently imprison all offenders without trial.

will blame the FBI and shrub will get credit for following their recommendations and overhauling the agency into a brand new domestic CIA.

It was planned that way from the beginning, when shrub picked the members. He walks away blameless.

I think the only thing they may have accomplished is to remove any organized labor protections from the workers.

8. Intelligence Services Weighs Overhaul of Bush's brain

Bush's Brain Scan

George W. Bush went to see the doctor to get the results of his brain scan. The doctor said: "Mr. President, I have some bad news for you. First, we have discovered that your brain has two sides: the left side and the right side."

Bush interrupted, "Well, that's normal, isn't it? I thought everybody had two sides to their brain?"

The doctor replied, "That's true, Mr. President. But your brain is very unusual because on the left side there isn't anything right, while on the right side there isn't anything left."

Yeah we know things are bad, but don't worry cause we got a plan. Just stick with us and we will fix everything up.

Uh huh.

Even though they didn't want the commission in the first place they look forward to working with them and hearing their recommendations. How much more of this crap do we have to listen too?

13. What makes him think they can change anything and it succeeds?
So far its been nothing but Double and Triple Bogeys. Always in the Trap or Rough, never by the Green.

Then he takes a clear cut warning from 746524300191812762563 agencies and friendly Nations and sits on it.

Don't do nothing

Don't warn our asses, the least he coulda done.

Worse, told his friends and staff, No Comm Jets, go Private.

Was he aware of the seriousness?? Can he COMPREHEND That DPB??

Did someone say anything? Like "Mr President, I think you might wanna read page 2, its very important?"

This guy should not change anything, he is a loose cannon.

16. Need some spies to watch the spies
Feed some stuff into the field-level and see how long before it bubbles up to a usable level. (Oh yeah and some modern computers for the FBI)

Keep the CIA and the Bushes out of drug deals, Nicaraguas and Enrons.
(Oh yeah, we'll need some actual human intelligence assets too)

Keep the Israeli and Turkish spies out.

Test the borders, customs, air and port security regularly - visa processes too.

But what we'll get is , hmm whats "Gestapo" in English?

32. Exactly! Bush screws up and it's time to overhaul ....
the CIA and FBI. Tell me again why we created the Department of Homeland Security? This is another lame attempt to cover their asses with a spending spree. They will spend a bunch of money doing nothing of value. Most likely putting more GOP operatives in the government where they will continue to sabotage foreign policy long after the Bush's are gone.

If Kerry gets elected he needs to clean house and get rid of the right wing elements in our security services. That in itself would go a long way to bring security and prosperity to the whole planet.

35. Raygun was a big clue, like say twenty years ago
These fools have been trying to do this crap since there was dirt, we just got to keep throwing monkey wrenches into their plans.

As far as I have been able to tell, many of them seem to be as stupid as the other Dick's V.P. Agnew, who got caught when he was taking wads of $50's under the Desk.

(snip)
HAYNES JOHNSON, Author/Journalist: Not that way personally because I didn’t know him that way. I traveled with him; wrote about him, and so forth, but I never had the personal relationship that David did. But I will remember him as someone who sowed cynicism and disillusionment and betrayal in the political process, a beginning of a time in our history which is a dark period. You have to remember, Jim, just think back--in April of 1973, when the revelations were beginning about Nixon, forcing the resignation of his chief aides, and the impeachment process was then beginning, were still a year and a half away, at that moment in the spring of ‘73, Spiro Agnew was 35 percent among all Republican voters to be the next Republican nominee for President of the United States. The next person at that point, close on the Gallup Poll, was a fellow named Ronald Reagan. Nobody else measured on the whole poll, and here was a man who almost became the President of the United States.

I think he was forced out because he betrayed his trust in a fundamental way. The indictment that he pleaded to--nola contandre--no contest and he didn’t go to jail, but then they released these incredible damning documents of payoffs and someone said I’ve been paying off the Vice President in his office in cash. It’s that kind of thing that came at a time particularly against the message of law and order, patriotic America, and all of the things you just saw on the screen about the nattering nabobs of negativism and the rest. I think it was one of the reasons that people felt very cynical about our politics, and I think it left a very bad legacy. But it’s not the personal side that David is talking about.

37. Translation: The LAST series of Bushevik Purges will be underway
With most of the honest, decent people gone from our Goevrnmental Agencies, how will we EVER restore them to their function as Public Guardian.

Even now, as we speak, only the most corrupt, bribable (by Bushevik Friends) are being allowed to stay on once their Fealty to the Emperor has been determined.

Can we EVER recover from this, or will we be only given a small pause before Emperors Jeb, Ahnold, and Mad George P. Caligula finish us off?
