PHOENIX (AP) - Cindy McCain, wife of Sen. John McCain, suffered a small stroke and was hospitalized in stable condition Tuesday.
"According to her physician, the prognosis is cautiously excellent," McCain said in a statement Tuesday.

Cindy McCain, 49, had a small bleed in her brain and her speech is mildly affected, said Robert Spetzler, director of the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital.

13. God Bless Her.
Here's a kind-hearted woman who has really worked for the benefit of humanity. I really like her. I hope she recovers without further problems. It won't necessarily be easy; one of my relative had two aneuryms before age 30.

On a side note, I guess The Pigboy would have liked to see her incarcerated for her previous Rx drug problem. But i guess he didn't call her by name when he made those comments; it was easier to razz Kittie Dukakis, etc.

18. Best Wishes for a Speedy Recovery, Mrs. McCain!
Horrible news, and she's far too young. I do hope she'll come through this as strong as ever.

I'm not much for praying, but my thoughts are with the Senator, his wife, and his family at this time. :-(

20. So sorry to hear about this.
Praying for the entire family, and wishing a full recovery for Mrs. McCain. This has to be rough for them, but I'm certainly glad they didn't lose her.

Life is so short and precious and fragile - and vulnerable.

I notice that Democrats want this lady to recover. I doubt that Repugs could do the same, if the situation were reversed, except for Conservatives like John McCain...
