Ohio Poll: Sherrod Brown Leads Potential Rivals for Re-Election
Source: Roll Call

Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) continues to lead all potential opponents in his re-election race, according to the most recent Quinnipiac University survey.

Former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell (R), who has yet to announce a final decision about a bid, performs the best against Brown, but he still trails the first-term Senator by double digits, 35 percent to 44 percent.

I know he is popular in Ohio so this may not be news for many but for me it's nice to hear of one seat that we likely won't have to spend a lot of money defending.

1. We never have to guess where Sherrod stands on the issues.
He's for the ordinary people and he works tirelessly for us.

3. I have had Coffee at the lunch counter with Sherrod
Brown many times, when he was our district Rep here in Ohio. I can personally attest, that what you see, is what you get, with Sherrod Brown. I sent him a campaign donation last week.....

5. A Socialist will vote for this Dem...
Given the last 2 and a half years... I'm no longer a part of the Democratic party.

But I WILL be voting for Brown in the next election.

I live in Ohio.

7. In OHio it's more about counting the votes than getting the votes.
We must never let our guard down!

8. God damned right he does.
That's the campaign I'm choosing to volunteer for next year. I don't have a lot of cash, but Sherrod is getting all I can afford. He and his wife Connie Schultz are consistant defenders of the working class and must prevail against the tired rhetoric of Tea Party politics that would have us "oust the incumbents" for a return to a Bob Taft government in Ohio.

I believe John Kasich is reminding Ohio voters of the nastiness of Republican rule, and I hope those assholes in the Tea Party have learned their lesson not to get swept up in a fad movement again. I personally know a couple of them who work for ODOT, and I know they regret their vote. Getting them to elect Brown should be easy now.

10. He should win easily but pubs are earnestly attempting to pass disenfranchisement laws
to prevent D's from voting. You can bet that provisional ballots won't count.
