Alleged bin Laden tape offers truce to European states
Edited on Thu Apr-15-04 01:02 AM by Lori Price CLG
Alleged bin Laden tape offers truce to Europe

DUBAI - Arab television stations aired a new audio tape purportedly from Osama bin Laden on Thursday offering a truce with European states if they stop attacking Muslims, but not with the United States.

The voice on the tape, broadcast by Dubai-based Al Arabiya channel and then by Qatar-based Al Jazeera station, said there would be no truce with the United States.

14. I just DO NOT get this suddenly infamously famous guy!!!
I dunno,...maybe I have really missed the boat,...but, I do not recall hearing about this guy or any tapes being regularly released until Bush got into office. It really makes me wonder, sometimes, whether these two are in bed together. Maybe, they are just very much alike,...using force to push political/religious agendas.

4. Only "Truce," not "Peace"
if so then it would be pretty silly for Europeans to take him up on that offer.

6. I don't buy into these tapes.
No one knows who sent them, who's on them and what they really say. I wouldn't be surprised if they are put out by our own people to keep the myth of Osama alive and to keep people scared.

8. Or just to make Europe reaffirm their allegiance to the US
Some are pulling their civilians out of Iraq and making noises about pulling out their military.

BushCo may want them to confirm they are still "with us".

9. IMO, this tape is totally bogus. I've firmly held OBL has been dead since
December 2001.

That the bushistas would attempt to drag his corpse out after weeks of pretending to be chasing him through the mountains of pakistan and afghanistan puts this dog and pony show squarely in the lap of kkkarl rove who seems to think we're all idiots.

Kkkarl been popping too much viagra.

11. Whether the tape is bogus or not
the words will resonate with many people throughout the world because much of what is said is closer to the truth than one would like to think.

12. What a bunch of hoohah
Notice how Osama's words are usually similar to those who criticize the * administration? Thus linking certain beliefs - anti-Iraq war, siding with Palestine, it's all only about Halliburton profits, etc. with OBL?

13. Does bin Laden has any of the $43mn left that Powell gave him in 4-01?
Did bin Laden spend all the money Bush gave him on 9-11, or does he have any money left for an attack just before the GOP Convention, so that the Idiot Usurper doesn't have to go to New York? There is no way that Bush will appear in Manhattan, as the 9-11 Commission report will be issued in July.

Bush-Rove needs a Weapon of Mass Distraction, and soon.
