Octomom's fertility doctor has license revoked

LOS ANGELES -- California medical officials have revoked the license of the fertility doctor who helped "Octomom" Nadya Suleman become the mother of 14 children through repeated in vitro treatments.

The Medical Board of California said Wednesday its decision is necessary to protect the public and becomes effective July 1.

The state licensing authority launched an investigation into Dr. Michael Kamrava's practice not long after Suleman's octuplets were born in January 2009.

In licensing hearings last year, the Beverly Hills fertility doctor acknowledged implanting 12 embryos into Suleman prior to that pregnancy - six times the norm for a woman her age.

He loses everything; she gets fame, publicity, a free house, a tv show, free child care, etc. Not that the doc didn't deserve to lose his license for gross negligence, but for fuck's sake she's the one who approached him seeking this, and she gets richly rewarded for it while he's flushed down the shitter. Somehow responsibility for one's own choices and actions just doesn't apply to good old Octomom...

As far as Octomom, I think those children need to be taken away from her. I don't think she's all there mentally, and I don't think she was all there when she got fertility pills either. Any scrupulous doctor would have known this when she consulted with them, so this doctor is really a menace to society.

If they had gone to a fertility doctor, which would be outrageous, and had 6 babies for every pregnancy that they've gone through, they would have 114 kids.

I was talking to my Mother in Law about this not long ago & I honestly thought he was going to go unpunished.
