U.S. general blasts Arab reporting

WASHINGTON — The commander of U.S. forces in Iraq denounced two Arab television stations Monday, accusing them of lying about American attacks in the city of Fallujah.

Army Gen John Abizaid said Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiya were broadcasting false reports that American troops were deliberately targeting civilians in Fallujah.

The three generals, Abizaid, Demmitt and Meyers haven't a thing on the three stooges.

Saddam had to "prove" he DIDN'T have WMD's and now Abizaid has to prove he ISN'T killing civilians.

So much easier just to shut the press down.

Hopefully some day like General Yamashita he will be tried and punished for murder.

Over here the uprising is just a bunch of murdering thugs who don't want freedom and democracy. Maybe they are. But, maybe, the people of Iraq view them as freedom fighters. I don't know. The President says the US is not in power to bring freedom. Freedom comes from God and the US is just delivering it to the people of Iraq. Maybe that's true. I don't know. But maybe Iraqis are angry with the US bringing our God (and in Bush's case...the Saviour)over to them. The bottom line is that Iraq is their country with their ideas. The Middle East is not the US, although you would think from the Crooked Ones that it is and should be just like us.

It is called "Mosaic" and it takes news highlights from all over the middle east. Countries like Jordan Syria Iran Lebanon etc. It is very interesting and very enlightining to get a point of view that is not sensored byt the Corporate media here in America.
