Court rejects recall effort
Source: Escanaba Daily Press

Two petitions to recall Sen. Tom Casperson failed to pass through a clarity hearing Thursday, but their creator is not giving up yet.

The Delta County Election Commission, which includes Probate Court Judge Robert Goebel, County Clerk Sandra Buckland, and County Treasurer Nancy Kolich, decided the language of the petition was not clear enough to move forward. 3. His handle was a giveaway. A Yooper is a person from the
upper peninsula of Michigan.

Two Yoopers head for the Motor City. When they get across the bridge they see a sign that reads "DETROIT LEFT." So they turn around and go home.
