dupe, sorry U.S. General Nearly Faints at Podium (Brig. Gen. Mark Kimmitt)
Edited on Sat Apr-17-04 02:09 PM by Barrett808
BAGHDAD, Iraq - The top U.S. military spokesman in Iraq appeared to briefly lose consciousness during a news conference Saturday, bumping his face into a podium microphone. He left the room for a period but returned smiling and answered more questions.

There was no immediate explanation for the apparent fainting spell suffered by Army Brig. Gen. Mark Kimmitt, the deputy head of operations in Iraq, who delivers daily briefings to Baghdad-based journalists alongside the top U.S. coalition spokesman Dan Senor.

Kimmitt had left the podium for a few minutes earlier in the press conference, which was broadcast live internationally. He returned, looking pale, to take more questions.

Just after answering a question, Kimmitt leaned toward Senor and whispered, "I gotta go."

Senor nodded and said, "OK," and then told reporters the next question would be the last.

1. Diagnosis:
The enormous number of lies he had to keep straight was clogging his cerebral cortex and cutting off the blood supply -- but one Ambien later and he was relaxed, mellow and ready to prevaricate with the best of 'em.

Ambien (R) by Sanofi-Synthelabo.
Colin Powell uses them... shouldn't you?

4. Every one seems to be on drugs.
I just once would like to see some one that just hangs in there and does his job. How did we ever get to 2000? Could be what is wrong with the world.

2. Saw it live
It was sad really. The guy's eyes started to role back into his head, then he just slowly slumped forward until the microphone was pressing into his cheek. He popped back up in a few seconds looking a little disoriented. A woman's voice, obviously miked, could be heard plainly saying, "Get him out of here, it's embarrassing."

3. This explains this whole mess.... the neocons have TUMORS
eating away at their brains. It first attacks all cognitive reasoning and no doubt the compassion sector of the brain.,....

5. I do not know why that made me laugh so hard. Tears came to my eyes.
It is like something is wrong with them. I can see Bush hitting the hornets nest with his little stick then wondering why they keep coming out buzzing around. Finally his mother has to take the GD stick away from him.

This piece of filth is a disgrace to the
American Armed Forces.

Gotta add this one to my list of heartless comments. I bet Anne Coulter gets the hots for this guy.

8. Well, that's one hell of a metaphor
Isn't it?

Wonder what they shot him up with backstage so he could come out again for a moment?

What's Keith Richard's personal doctor doing nowdays? He would know what to inject in a case like this...

Ok.
Just a little pinprick.
There’ll be no more --aaaaaahhhhh!
But you may feel a little sick.
