Miami Mayor Regalado might have received illegal campaign contributions

Campaign documents show that Miami Mayor Tomás Regalado received at least $8,000 from individuals and corporations in the Dominican Republican during the 2009 election campaign, something that Florida election officials say is illegal in Florida.

“Contributions to candidates from individuals and corporations abroad are prohibited under state and federal laws,” said Chris Cate, spokesman of the Florida Division of Elections in Tallahassee. “It is not permitted to contribute, donate or use these funds in federal, state or local campaigns.”

Cate added that candidates are responsible to make sure that all contributions to their campaigns comply with election laws.

The 16 contributions of $500 each were delivered by William Bermello, a Miami architect, from July to September in 2009, Regalado told El Nuevo Herald. The checks were issued by Dominican contractors linked to Mobiliaria Arena Gorda. Bermello is a partner at Bermello Ajamil & Partners, a Miami enterprise involved in the luxurious Los Altos project in the tourist zone of Casa de Campo, whose contractor is Mobiliaria Arena Gorda.

4. Jeez, the Wiki says "His son, Tomas Regalado Jr. is an anchor and producer at TV Marti."
That's the propaganda station financed by U.S. taxpayers which used to be located in Washington, D.C., which the Cuban "exiles" had relocated to Miami, which is a horrendous economic black hole, along with Radio Marti, gobbling up, together over $30,000,000.00 annually, completely staffed and programmed by Cuban "exiles" and their offspring.

A Colorado Democratic Congressman, David Skaggs, attempted to get Congress to drop Radio Marti, was raged at by Miami Cuban "exile" Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart who told him he would destroy every single program he cared about, and set about to accomplish it. Diaz-Balart completely ####ed up Skaggs, sabotaging his business in Congress, then, with financing from the Cuban American National Foundation, took out advertising in Colorado's newspapers, etc. describing how David Rivera lost such vital programs needed by Colorado.

Skaggs was ruined by these maggots because he DARED to try to remove that pathetic pork trough, taking it from the hands and control of these radical reactionaries who have been deriving their whole incomes from managing pure propaganda to Cuba, to which no one there ever hears, anyway.

Disgusting. Most U.S. national Congressional politicians never miss going to Cuba to suck up to them, get some political funding, to send back to them in programs, in federal financial support.

Someday that's GOT to stop. Rip-off artists, parasites, maggots.
