Egyptian tanks clearing out Tahrir protesters

The Egyptian army has deployed troops in Cairo's Tahrir Square and fired several shots in the air to disperse remaining pro-democracy protesters.

A few hundred demonstrators were staying put, state television reported.

Witnesses said one man fell due to gunfire near the square, and protesters reportedly were fleeing to the Omar Makram mosque nearby.

Egyptian protesters had said they would suspend their Tahrir Square sit-in during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, but would return to the square to press for reforms after the month is over.

3. Are our generals still bragging about how they have close relationships with Egyptian military

because they trained them?

They were all over tv bragging about that during the rebellion, but while Mubarak was still in office.

Haven't heard so much about our involvement with Egypt's military since then.
