Ashcroft: al-Qaida Could Strike Again
WASHINGTON - There is a "very real potential" that the al-Qaida terrorism network could again strike the United States, Attorney General John Ashcroft (news - web sites) said Sunday.

"Al-Qaida is still bent on injuring the United States," he said. Ashcroft later said that he believes Osama bin Laden (news - web sites)'s organization wants "to strike us whenever and wherever they can."

Ashcroft said a new audiotape purportedly from bin Laden's top deputy, Ayman Al-Zawahri, is evidence of the continued threat.

1. We know..that's why we invaded Iraq. The idea is...attack where they
aren't. It's an old football play. I think Raygun thought it up.

2. YES LETS KEEP OUR EYES OFF THE REAL NEWS
for petes sake, lets keep lying to the public and not focus on the real terrorists, namely, the Bush Empire and the Ashcroft "fuck the Bill of Rights" terrorist organization.

Move along now, nothing to see here...

Wouldn't want a terrorist attack to inconvenience his morning run.

6. Lather, rinse, repeat...
Lather, rinse, repeat

And this sad refrain drums on. "Got to keep the folks hyped-up and ever on alert, lest they catch on that we're all bunch of neo-goose-stepping morons...I mean committed empire makers...I mean concerned government employees."

7. "Injuring"?
Blah, blah, blah. I can't count how many times this adminstration has used these general threats since 9-11. They've become meaningless, if only to point out how willing this administration is to manipulate information the masses to their own ends. If this threat needed to be stated at this time, then why isn't Bush back at the White House? F*cking useless, these puds are!

The only one who's "injuring" the U.S. is Ashcroft and his leader. They are more of a danger to America than Al Qaeda.

9. Ok, then let's spend all our time hunting Saddam!! Perfect!!!
even better, let's fire the air marshalls, send the Chimp to Crawford, and start a terrorism betting pool!

all in the name of protecting the 'Murkan people, of course...

Ashcroft is ready for the dunking chair, if you ask me!

11. Why is it so hard to connect the dots?
Everything this administration has done since 9/11 implicates them in LIHOP/MIHOP. The rest of the world knows. Is there something the water here or what?

10. Don't see where our fearless press
asked why the terra-lert color hasn't been raised. Did they change the color code system or are the states too busted to do anything even if they put out a terra-lert?

14. Feel safer?
I certainly don't. I'm afraid he's right. We're gonna get attacked and this administration is going to do nothing about it.

15. Then why is the CA National Guard not protecting the Golden Gate Bridge?
Is the Golden Gate Bridge left to be defended by a couple of lowly CHP patrol officers?
