Cheney 'deranged' says Pyongyang
North Korea described US Vice President Dick Cheney as "mentally deranged" yesterday after he reiterated the United States' position on how to resolve a nuclear standoff with Pyongyang during his recent visit to South Korea.

North Korea "is seriously contemplating a measure to counter the US oft-repeated demand that it scrap its nuclear program first," a Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

Washington has insisted on a "complete, verifiable and irreversible dismantling" of all the communist North's nuclear facilities, but Pyongyang says it will do so only if the United States provides economic aid and security guarantees.

North Korea "has no idea of dealing with the US any longer if the latter insists on the disgusting CVID," the spokesman was quoted as saying by KCNA, the North's official news agency, adding that North Korea considers Cheney "a mentally deranged person."

4. The Experts have spoken
Pyongyang is eminently qualified to make the dignosis. They know deranged like hookers know ding-dong.

Ah, the world! It's one great big asylum out there, but sometimes I just feel like a little old pill.

11. Nah ... that would be the reaction of a sane man
Men like Cheney don't make a big display of emotions. Instead of anger, rage; instead of love, sentimentality; instead of an outraged reaction to injustice, there's only ambition and the search for privilege.

And of course, he hunts -- on private "game preserves" -- with Fat Tony Scalia. Not quite as bad as shooting puppies in a barrel, but close.

after all, we know how the media spin and filter things so that it looks good for Bush* specifically, or at least good for the US/the West.
