Blair for a Third Term
Just breaking as an exclusive on Channel 4 news, he said he's going to stay for a full third term. Thatcher said the same at this period in her premiership, she lasted 3 more years.

1. Good. Hubris strikes again.

This will only do him damage. It would appear that the deal with Brown is off.

2. Yes
Brown was meant to get power sometime in the second term, I guess it was because at the time Blair was in his shadow given Brown was an established MP.

4. I'm a huge fan of
Charles Kennedy, he is my favorite part of the PM's questions on cspan, very thoughtful and comes across as sincere.

8. I stopped watching if
during the Iraq war, when It became obvious that IDS wasn't going to challenge Poodle Number 10 on the Iraq war.

Have things gotten any better.

and it's over for him.

The European elections are comming and the result could be an historical
defeat for Labour (I'm thinking 3rd place) if Blair is still there.

6. He Thinks he's invincible
But one stupid policy (e.g. Thatcher's Poll tax, Callaghan's Winter of Discontent) loss of public support (Thatcher and Callaghan) and the party will realise they are better off without him and he'll be powerless, just like the Milk Snatcher.

7. Labourites keep turning a blind eye to Blair's crimes
because they think he can hand them a 3rd Labour term.

His problem is that Iraq will only get worse.

When they realize that they are heading to a catastrophic defeat
they will get rid of the bastard. This will happen in less than a
year.
