Bush's Approval Rating at All-Time Low -Poll (Reuters)
Edited on Wed Apr-28-04 07:51 PM by johnnie
<snip>
NEW YORK (Reuters) - President Bush's approval rating is at an all-time low and fewer than half of Americans now believe invading Iraq was the right thing to do, according to a CBS/New York Times poll released on Wednesday.

Maybe it will keep dropping....

1. Do you have a link?
Wasn't he just up in the poll 2 days ago? What's up with these polls. I think it's all bullshit. Like our last Presidential election.

7. Link, This poll looks similar to the Zogby results taken at the same
time as the other CNN/Gallop ABC/WAPO etc polls that, well lets just say, are own by big big corporations that donate millions to you know who. Zogby polls are the most accurate from a historical stand point. Zogby called it for Gore when all the corporate polls had Bush by 3 to 5 pts.

4. I thought just a few days ago
it was supposedly up? These polls are useless any more. However, I do think that when they are reported, they are influential to the sheeple who don't take the time to make an educated opinion about candidates - they just look at the polls or a newspaper endorsement and then decide.

This is good news though.

But when 2 polls last week showed bush* ahead, all we saw were stories
about how kerry was a loser.

9. 46% approval - that is dangerously close to the point of no return
If * dips to 40% I think, historically, he is toast.

Those numbers are way too low for "re-election".

Now if Kerry would just go ahead and get Clark on the ticket...

How low can you go? There's lots of time before the election. Poppy was in the same situation - he tanked coming up to the elections.

15. I hope these numbers continue to fall
and the sooner the better. I believe once people realize there will be no more * as president next year, things do have a chance of changing.

Maybe we can regain part of our integrity as a nation I can only hope.

I suspect these poll #'s will continue to drop along with the DOW.

It's the economy stupid will become the words forever engrained in his feeble mind.

In the meantime, US OUT OF IRAQ!

18. Do NOT Be Surprised If A Gallup Poll Comes Out
That has a number completely at odds w/ this. That is now why Gallup exists; to contradict accurate polls and make the Chimp look good to a gullible public.

21.  "32 percent, the lowest number ever, say Iraq was a threat
that required immediate military action a year ago," the poll reported."

That's the freeper, cool aide drinker contingent again. Their numbers are getting smaller yet everyday there is some LTTE in our Bakersfield paper praising the puppet-in-chief.

24. Amazing.
This is pretty darned amazing, considering how many media pundits are on TV every single day praising Bush for his strong leadership and falling into lockstep behind his decision to invade Iraq. If the sheeple are finally seeing past those pretenders and seeing reality, perhaps things are looking up?
