Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, the son of a Nazi, visits Israel this weekend on his first foreign trip since taking office, and will attend the groundbreaking for a museum dedicated to tolerance.

"He feels it's critically important to keep his commitment to go to Israel and continue a dialogue about tolerance," said Terri Carbaugh, a spokeswoman.

Schwarzenegger agreed more than a year ago to attend the groundbreaking for the $200 million museum, a project of the Los Angeles-based Simon Wiesenthal Center. Designed by architect Frank Gehry, it will be called the Center for Human Dignity-Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem.

These moves are very transparent. I bet he's even starting to raise/sequester money for this somehow.

famous actor, son of a Nazi, friend of George W Bush) is going to
Israel (home of the suicide bomber, recently stirred up by Sharon &
Bush) in a high-profile visit during a critical period of adverse
public reaction to Bush.

If - and I am in NO WAY advocating this - if something was to happen
to little ol' Arnie, not only would any other news (911 commission,
retreat from Falluja) slip off the front pages, it would draw even
more support for the PNAC approach to the Middle East ... not to
mention a clamp-down on Fatherland security ...
