2. The article says "up to 4000."
And then it says that no decision has been made. This may be called look like you are helping and do nothing.

mess! Like heading into Hell. It's suicide. If they don't die they are so "changed" by the cruelty and purposelessness of it all, they're never the same.

4. Are they bringing their own urinals ????
Or are they going to just use the faces of the inhabitants on which to "RELIEVE" themselves.

5. I thought Britain was running out of money for this nonsense.
Did Blair pull a Bush and con the British people into buying more pain and suffering?

7. I had the impression that UK populace was against the war before, during
and since the invasion. Any word from UK DUers on this, or opinion poll numbers?

13. UK opinion is ignored
as Blair evidently feels it is more important to serve the PNAC then to serve Britain.

Blair has a landslide majority, so I'm afraid he's safe in power,. That's a big part of the reason why "new" labour is so out of touch and arrogant.

8. Blair flip flop....First he said NONE would go, then he said they might go
and now...they're going.

That will endear him to Britain.........

9. Poodle wants to mark his territory
I know, bad pun. After the news that British soldiers were also involved in abusive treatment of prisoners, you would think he would be pulling troops out, begging the world's forgiveness as he goes. Anything to please the chimp, I guess.
