Longtime Bush adviser Karen Hughes' hagiography of the president, "Ten Minutes From Normal," has sailed onto the best-seller list. Now she's about to get unsolicited promotional help from Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

The abortion rights group announced last week that its supporters would be appearing at Hughes' book signings in Tampa today and Atlanta on Tuesday -- but to seek apologies, not autographs. The group is protesting remarks Hughes made that some have viewed as comparing abortion rights demonstrators to terrorists.

Asked on CNN about abortion in the presidential election, Hughes said: "I think after Sept. 11 the American people are valuing life more and realizing that we need policies to value the dignity and worth of every life."

4. Oh hell...marginalize her with a kick 'em out fundraiser

outside the doors of the books stores. Set up a voter registration booth on one side and have wooden cutouts of the bastards with a suggested dollar donation per kick on the other side. People will be lining up in droves for a chance to kick and the few who might show up for book signing will flee!
