Ousted Taliban Say Execute Five Afghan Policemen
KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (Reuters) - Guerrillas from Afghanistan (news - web sites)'s ousted Taliban executed five government policemen after seizing them in the troubled southern province of Zabul, a Taliban commander said on Tuesday.
The policemen were kidnapped on Monday in the Shah Joy district of Zabul, the same province where four government soldiers were killed in a mine blast a day earlier.
"We have killed the five that we kidnapped," Mullah Rozi Khan, Taliban's top commander for Zabul province, told Reuters.
