Typhoon Nida leaves 23 dead and missing in the Philippines
MANILA, (AFP) - The number of dead and missing from Typhoon Nida has risen to 23 with more than 28,000 displaced by the storm this week.

At least 13 people were confirmed dead, mostly from drowning while 10 others are still missing with one person injured, the government said.

In the worst single incident, eight people were killed and four were still missing after a small inter-island ferry capsized off the Camotes island in the central Philippines on Tuesday, the civil defense office said.

Initial damage estimates were placed at 72.6 million pesos (1.3 million dollars), with the agricultural sector sustaining the worst damage.
President Gloria Arroyo declared the heavily-hit eastern Bicol region and the islands of Masbate and Samar under a state of calamity, which would give them faster access to emergency funds.

If Pat Robertson prays another Hurricane to kill people shouldn't he be charged with murder?
